Mary is thrilled to announce a new commission with Tipperary Dance, Far-flung Dances | Dance in Libraries.

The commission, being presented libraries across Tipperary from 2nd October, invited a site-specific exploration through dance and movement responding to a selection of natural environments. The work emerged in close relationship with these sites, all of which have been allowed to restore to their native growth and ecologies.

Far-flung Dances has been screened internationally at festivals in the US, Scotland and England since the premier at Tipperary Dance International Festival last year.

These films will be presented in the following libraries. The films will be screened at 11am and 3pm.

  • Friday October 2nd – Nenagh Library.
  • Monday October 5th – Thurles Library and Cashel Library
  • Tuesday October 6th – Clonmel Library and Carrick on Suir Library

Part of Tipperary Dance's Connecting Communities programme.
